HP Desktop PCs
You’re computer gives you no end of problems. It’s old, slow and you’ve had enough. You want to play PC games, but it can’t handle any new games and barely runs old games without frequent screen freezes. You’re on a low budget but ideally you want a gaming computer. Is it doable? Gaming desktop PCs are made by many manufacturers and range in pricing to accommodate even low budgets.

For occasional gamers, HP desktop PCs offer standard desktop computers that are easily upgradeable. Perhaps better known for printing products, their Pavilion desktop series starts off highly affordable and suits a number of functions. While a basic package is not designed for gaming, you will have no problem customizing it by replacing the processor, RAM, hard drive and graphics card.
Laptops have the advantages of being portable and compact. They can be carried easily, be taken on vacations, business travels and out into the garden on a nice day. HP desktop PCs take up a great deal more room and don’t share the advantage of being portable but there are certainly a lot of praises to give regardless.
People with laptops are at greater risk of neck and shoulder troubles. Sore, painful shoulders are common for any PC user who spends long periods in front of the computer. Laptop users are more prone, because the height of the screen is so low to the keyboard. Craning the neck forward and sitting in a hunched position for hours can cause severe pain in the back and shoulder regions.
HP desktop PCs, however or any other tower unit for that matter are much more ergonomically designed and better for posture. As monitors are not fixed, you can choose to buy a bigger and better one if you want to. Desktop users find typing on a proper keyboard and using a mouse much more comfortable too.
The main benefit of a tower unit is being able to customize and replace parts. Computers go wrong sometimes. Bad RAM, a fried motherboard, a faulty DVD drive; all very unlikely to happen. But even so, a tower unit and especially HP desktop PCs offer ease of removal and installation of components.
New and secondhand parts are easily obtainable compared to laptops. Furthermore, desktop computers offer compatibility with 3rd party hardware. You could very well start with a HP computer but end up with a computer that holds no original components in a few years time.
And that’s the beauty of a desktop. You can start on a low budget but build a better machine as and when you have the finance or need to.
